If I could...

If I could...

I'd call the incautious laws legislators

I'd extract from their fingers the false rings

I'd blow into their ears an old still valid rule

Those who betrayed love would be banned soon.

If I could...

I'd erase from human speech the word bank

I'd store all the money from the world at a corner

I'd set fire to it and keep the poor warm

With the ashes I'd paint in black mourning the copper

From the capital and the profit nothing would be left

And Man the white collar would undress.

If I could...

I'd eliminate the weapons from the face of the Earth

The white, the black, the illnesses, the prattle

I'd seduce home the soldiers from war

Smoke curtains I'd launch for the effect

Affection, tenderness and sumo art would be shared.

If I could...

I'd gather priests, masters, spiritual leaders and shepherds

I'd make them uninterested human heart drivers

I'd distil into the caves the inopportune interest

I'd kill in a glance the hypocrite issues

I'd root the true meaning of union

I'd completely change the soul of religions.

If I could...

I'd confess mine and the others' pains

I'd cover the planet with bread and pure water

I'd dethrone pollution and all excess

I'd feed humans with faith bit by bit

I'd free from yoke the tame conscience

I'd bury all and every kind of conceit.

If I could...

I'd unmask the social hypocrisy

I'd ban from touch the superficial mind

I'd lead to the volcanic hot springs

People and creatures from all kinds

Only those who got mature would leave the place.

If I could...

I'd demand time to stop for a second

I'd silence the populations from the world

I'd show the real value of the moment

I'd nibble one by one even the dummy

I'd make them retain these simple ideas

Past and Future aren't here in the NOW

And the Present share it( while you can) around.
